Oh mother, how you are always right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cleaning your gear doesn\u2019t just come from a motivation to have a decent smelling closet through the winter. It\u2019s more about keeping pricey gear in good shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over time, your adventures take a toll on gear and naturally break down its materials. Here are tips to clean oft-used summer gear like tents, sleeping bags, and sandals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Camping tents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mildew and stains are common on tents. To make sure your tent doesn&#8217;t smell like Grandma&#8217;s basement, give it a pre-storage cleaning with <a href=\"http:\/\/nikwax.com\/en-us\/products\/productdetail.php?productid=268&amp;itemid=-1&amp;fabricid=-1\">Tech Wash<\/a>.
