IMPORTANT:
Do not use conventional detergents.
Use Nikwax Stain Scrub to treat stubborn stains before washing.
Remove all non-washable parts.
Machine Wash:
Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place maximum of 1 item in washing machine.
Clothing:
1. Add 100ml of Down Wash.
2. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin, with an extra rinse if possible.
3. Add 150ml of Down Proof to detergent dispenser.
4. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin, with an extra rinse if possible.

Sleeping bags:
1. Add 150ml of Down Wash for a standard washing machine. For 12kg machines use 250ml, for larger 25kg machines use 500ml.
2. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin, with an extra rinse if possible.
3. Add 150ml of Down Proof for 1 season bags (0.8kg- 1kg); 300ml for 2-3 season bags (1.1kg – 2kg); 500ml for 4 season bags (2kg – 2.5kg).
4. Run a 30°C synthetic cycle on a slow spin, with an extra rinse if possible.
Hand Wash (use gloves):
1. For 1 item: Add 100ml of Down Wash to 12-15L of warm water.
2. Immerse item and agitate to mix, ensuring complete wetting.
3. Leave to soak for 5 minutes, then agitate thoroughly.
4. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.
5. For Down Proof For 1 item – use 150ml in 7.5L of water. 2 items – use 300ml in 12-15L of water.
6. Immerse clean item(s) in warm water and agitate to mix, ensuring complete wetting.
7. Rinse in cold water until water runs clear.
Drying:
Do not dry before waterproofing.
If care label allows, tumble dry on a low heat setting.
Teasing apart clumps during drying process will help restore loft to the down.
