APRIL – We supported the European Outdoor Conservation Association’s Spring Vote
From reforestation to tackling plastic pollution to protecting habitats for endangered species, the European Outdoor Conservation Association’s (EOCA) fundraising has supported almost 200 projects in over 65 countries since 2006. Nikwax are proud partners of EOCA and we asked our subscribers to help choose which conservation projects to support with funding this year. The winning projects were: ‘Safeguarding the Endangered White-Footed Tamarin Monkey (Colombia)’, ‘Rewilding our Mountains by clearing them of obsolete infrastructures (France)’ and ‘Marginalised Communities Conserving Sea Turtles (India)…

MAY – We celebrated 10 years as a European Outdoor Conservation Association Sustaining Member
Since 2015, a select group of forward-thinking companies have helped finance the core costs of the European Conservation Association (EOCA), on behalf of the European outdoor leisure sector, benefitting conservation. This year, EOCA announced that not only are there now eight Sustaining Members of EOCA, but four of them, including Nikwax, are supporting EOCA for the tenth year in a row! Each of us have donated an additional €100,000 to the Association since the programme started. Our generous funding has allowed EOCA to continue its vital work, supporting hands-on conservation projects that protect and restore nature worldwide…
