The clothes we wear while we sweat can get stinky! From workout clothing, to sports gear (we’re looking at your hockey pads!), to the now ubiquitous everyday activewear, our apparel can get funky. So how do we get rid of these smells that build up? There have been many methods proposed throughout the years to remove odors from gym and sports clothes. From freezing your clothing, to washing it in vinegar, we’ve heard it all! But not everyone wants their sports bras and cycling chamois tucked in next to their ice pops, and most prefer to keep their pickling to cucumbers. So what can you do to get rid of those persistent odors?

Enter Nikwax Sports Refresh. A high-powered deodorizing cleaner, Sports Refresh gets rid of embedded odors. However, it goes a step further in banishing stink by enhancing the wicking of athletic apparel. That means that moisture spreads faster through the material and helps sports clothing dry faster. This not only keeps you more comfortable during physical activity, it also helps prevent the buildup of odors in your gear. Additionally, washing in Sports Refresh will help prevent the buildup of future stains, which is great if you have little athletes running amok.

So go ahead and wash those stinky workout clothes, those funky sports uniforms, and those nasty cycling shorts! Simply use Sports Refresh instead of your regular laundry detergent in a normal cycle. Easy! Just remember, never use fabric softeners on your workout gear. They leave behind residues that prevent your clothes from wicking properly.
